Beginner Art Classes

Let’s practice our drawing techniques with this Beatrix Potter inspired mouse! Potter was a popular English writer and illustrator, responsible for classic stories such as “Peter Rabbit”. This week we are mimicking her whimsical style to draw an adorable mouse. Students will get to practice line and form to set up a successful composition with a distinct background and foreground. They will also learn valuable cross hatching techniques to express value and light. Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year! Join us on Tuesday or Saturday each week... or whenever it's convenient for you! We do the same project each of those days for each week, and then something new for the next week! Dress for a mess! Please! We use acrylic paints and sometimes they are difficult to remove from clothes!
