About Abbrianna

Hello families! I'm happy to share a bit about myself and my relevant childcare experience. Throughout college, I volunteered twice per week at a preschool, helping to facilitate various lessons and activities with students. I also babysat for a family with a 3-year-old, 5-year-old, and dog when needed. I worked for 3 years as a special education teacher, working with disabled children in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Most recently, I was a live-in au pair for two children ages 3 and 9 in Sweden for a year. In the fall, I will be starting as a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania in their Teaching, Learning, and Leadership program. Every experience I have had working with children, I look back on fondly. My goal is to make every child I interact with feel safe, seen, and successful. I have transportation, am great with pets, and am available most nights and weekends.
