About Abby

I have been around kids my entire life as my mom ran an in-home daycare while I was growing up. It was my favorite thing to help with the younger kids and babies! I started babysitting in middle school and have been involved with kids in some capacity ever since, whether it be sitting, volunteering, working in a daycare, or helping to raise my nephew who is now 12 years old. I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from GVSU in 2020. I recently got married in 2022 and currently live with my husband and our four fur babies in Wyoming, MI. I am currently a School Social Worker working with kiddos in grades K-5. I absolutely love what I do. Because of my degree and my career, I am well versed in all things kids, including neurodivergent kiddos. I also have a deep understanding of human behavior and positive behavior strategies. I love kids, which is why I made it my career! I would love to chat more about your unique child(ren), their needs, and see if I can help!
