About Abdul

I have 17 years of experience. I can help with Transportation Services and Live-In Home Care. I've been working in the health care field since 2005 and have passion for this job. I have worked with elderly individuals, people with mental disabilities, and people on hospice. I'm a good listener and I respect people. I like challenges, and I don't take anything personally. I understand that sometimes clients say things that aren't appropriate and I look past that. I'm very flexible, friendly and outgoing -- and I love animals. I completed training on Person-Centered Thinking many years ago, and it continues to influence the way I work with my clients. I concentrate on REC, which is Recognize the individual, Encouraging their Emotions, and Communicate. This means that I think of the person first and put them in the center of everything I do. I always remember that my job is centered around my client and how I can help that person. When I'm not working, I love to read, play gospel songs
