I'd describe my personality as social, adventurous, and determined. I like working with kids because they provide a constant reminder of the simple joys in life! There are few jobs where you can bond over green being the best color! I'm looking for a job that will allow me to strengthen and expand the qualities I want to emulate as a mother. My future career goals involve working with children and families, so I want to immerse myself in those settings. I really began working with kids when I became an anesthesia assistant at 16 where the majority of clients were pediatric patients. This job taught me to care for children in stressful environments. Many of our patients had special needs so I learned to accommodate and adapt accordingly. My next role working with children was when I taught English in Uganda at 19. This job required a plethora of skills to entertain young minds via games, cooking, crafting, etc. At this time, I gained more experience volunteering in a local orphanage.
