About Acacia

I'm a kind and creative person who is always trying to learn something new. I love to play music, hike, write, read, and play with my dog and cat! The main passions driving my working experience and education are teaching music to young children, providing emergency medical care, and child welfare. I have a long history of working with kids including day camps, after school group classes, preschool classes, birthday parties, and private lessons. I have a college certification in Early Childhood Education and hold Basic Life Support and Emergency Medical Technician certifications. I mainly teach guitar, voice, ukulele, and general music classes, but I can also teach beginner piano and bass guitar. One of my favorite things about kids is getting to help answer their questions about how things work. I really love watching kids figure things out and the way their eyes light up when it finally *clicks*. I'm looking forward to meeting your kids and helping them learn & grow!
