About Akua

I have nearly 8 years' experience caring for children of all, from newborns, infants and upwards. I work well with all personality types and I understand requirements of special needs children such as those with learning disabilities, mental challenges and physical impairment. I am able to engage and motivate children with different activities that encourage early learning. As a nanny, my responsibilities from previous employer included preparing and feeding meals to the children. In Addition, assisted children bathing and dressing, I oversaw play time, planned trip to the park and with permission I allowed interaction with other children. I occasionally, accompanied the kids to the library. Last but not the least, I partake in light house chores.
