About Alanna

Hello! My name is Alanna, I'm 20 years old currently in school double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I grew up around dogs and cats, my first dog was a Labrador mix named Gigi.(I was 5 when I got her, hence the name) My uncle also had 4 cats growing up so I got used to changing litter boxes and playing with a range from kittens to senior cats. Unfortunately I moved to Boston from Florida at 14, the apartment we moved into didn't allow animals :( So I began to help family friends walk and play with their dogs/cats since we couldn't have any of our own. I decided to join Care. com for a few reasons. I thought joining would be a perfect way to play with and love on some animals since I'm unable to own any of my own right now, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to make some money on the side to help with school expenses! I know from personal experience that pets are like children to their owners, so feel free to reach out and get to know some more about me!
