About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alexandra. I am a biochemist at Yale Department of Molecular Genetics. This may sound intimidating, because it is. With that being said, I have a love for science and passion for making this subject approachable to learn. If you're someone who faces these subjects with anxiety-ridden stress and confusion, I empathize completely. This is tough material! I use unique and innovative approaches of tutoring all our fellows and residents within the university. I also have experience tutoring college level and elementary level sciences. Allow me to use my skills for the kids who struggled like I did when first learning about the sciences. I will take the time to first understand the type of learner you are, and our study sessions will vary depending on what you respond to best. I promise to make this experience fun, while maintaining a high degree of applicability in your courses as well as long term memorization of all processes for future use.
