About Alexandra

Since I was in the fifth grade I have been pursing a career in special education. This includes running a special education class my senior year of high school for moderate special needs students and coaching a special needs sports league for 2 to 3 years. My more current job experiences include nannying for an autistic, nonverbal girl and her sister, nannying for another autistic girl, being an aide for a boy with a genetic mutation causing developmental delays, and being an aide for a young woman with cerebral palsy. Going into college I was a severe special education major, but transitioned into a psychology major. Because of this I have been able to be in two different second grade classrooms, one where I was a teacher's assistant and one where I worked solely with three students who had behavioral problems. I am also able to do basic house cleaning and food prep having worked in the food and beverage industry.
