About Alexandra

For the last four years, I have worked as a Personal Care Assistant and Direct Support Specialist, caring for the elderly and individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant, my responsibilities included: feeding, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, cooking, and organization. I also assisted with OT, PT, and daily goals. I contributed in ensuring clients achieve their goals of self-growth. As a Direct Support Specialist, my responsibilities included: scheduling and transporting clients to their medical appointments, handling crises and conflict resolution, administering medication, taking vitals, ensuring all clients receive refills of current and new medications, and locating expired + discontinued medications. I also assisted with meal planning, laundry, daily goals, financial goals, and transporting clients to different events and activities. I have also volunteered at nursing homes for the last several years! Flexible with availability!
