My name is Alexa. I'm obtaining associate degrees in Applied Music Theory-Opera and General Psychology this December. I worked as an interim music therapist at Fuller Hospital after working as a special education teacher assistant at Northern Rhode Island Collaborative for several years. During my time at NRIC, I was a part-time Home-Based Therapist, specializing in ASD. I am a classically trained opera singer, multi-instrumentalist and former private music instructor at The School of Rock and Guitar Center. I am happy to include lessons free of charge if interested. Using my education experience and personal interest in art, I incorporate fun activities that promote learning, self-expression, and physical activity. I am CPR certified and obtained a recent background check from the State of RI in May, 2024 that I can provide upon request.
