About Alexis

Hi, I'm Alexis. I'm 27 years old with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I worked as a volunteer tutor in high school. In college, I worked as a one-on-one math tutor. I also worked for two years as a writing tutor. I have experience working with both neurodivergent and differently abled students. I took developmental psychology and am uniquely qualified to both understand and support a child's learning process. I worked for three years as a direct support professional. I primarily worked with kids with autism. I helped them with their homework and maintained communication with their teachers to provide optimal educational support. I believe all students have the capacity for success when given the right tools and support. I strive to make learning fun, interactive and understandable.
