About Alexis

Originally from Philadelphia, I studied Communications at Fordham University in New York. Upon graduating, I worked as a Production Manager, managing complex projects from conception to completion. In 2020, I made a career shift, deciding to pursue a path in Education. I felt compelled to pursue a path that aligned more closely with my interests, values, and innate desire to help others. This decision led me back to Philadelphia, where I completed a Master's program at Drexel University in December 2023. My teaching philosophy centers on instilling a lifelong love of learning, giving students the tools to succeed in all areas of their academic, professional, and personal journeys. To do so, I focus on meaningful connections, authentic engagement, and a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
