I've spent the past 15 years working in the healthcare field. After several years working in geriatrics with chronic disease in the hospital setting, I transitioned over to the Emergency Department. Over the past 8 years, I've worked at a fast-paced, free-standing ER where I provide care for acute illness/injury for all ages. I care for patients who seek treatment from the big things like stroke, MI, respiratory distress, & sepsis to issues like urological complications, falls, and uncontrolled afib. I'm trained to recognize life-threatening illness/injury & highly experienced & comfortable with the elderly population with an emphasis on memory care & dementia.
