About Alisha

Hello my name is Alisha. I am a stay at home mom currently to two amazing little girls 2 and almost 4. I am also a proud Air Force wife. I was previously a certified foster parent in Virginia before relocating. During that time I fostered my two little brothers and performed respite care for other foster families. I also previously worked in a nursing/ assisted living home for several years specifically working with individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's/ dementia. During that time I received much training towards art therapy, behavioral management in a controlled healthy environment, techniques to distract and redirect avoiding meltdowns, etc. These tools have been able to help me work with little ones on the spectrum also toddlers during those odd years where they're still trying to navigate all the emotions they are starting to feel.
