About Alisha

I've been in childcare (including preschool teaching) for 16 years now, raised my godson his first 5 years and I am now a hard working devoted single mother of a growing boy. I am also a Certified Holistic Doula and Herbalist. I know that personally, it is sort of nerve-wrecking to leave your child or children in the hands of others. I would definitely feel more comfortable with having the care of another mother's touch for my children and that is what I am willing to provide to you and your family. I'd describe my personality as Comforting, Nurturing, Bubbly. I like working with kids because I'm first and foremost a mother. From bringing life into the world and as a Doula, to helping be a role in raising children as a devoted caregiver, I wouldn't trade any of it. I started working with kids when I was shy of 13. I was the neighborhood sitter. In my spare time, I like to read, relax at the beach in any season, yoga and meditation, exploring new places with my little one.
