I am a long-time childcare professional, having started out as a daycare teacher during college; I found caring for children to be so rewarding that I chose to pursue it full-time. I worked as a daycare teacher for nine years, specializing in infant care, before becoming a nanny in 2000. I have taken care of children ranging in age from newborns to school age. Typically, my main focus has been on caring for the children, with a secondary focus on light housekeeping, including laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up. I also have driven the children to various activities, play dates, etc., and have experience helping the older ones with homework. I love working with children, and playing a part in nurturing their development, whatever age they may be. Right now, I am taking on temporary nanny jobs while I wait to start my next long-term position.
