About Alison

My passion for nurturing children's growth and development has led me to become a dedicated childcare provider with over a decade of experience. I feel privileged to support families by providing reliable care. As a patient, respectful, and creative caregiver, I foster a nurturing environment where children thrive. Communication is key, so I proactively reach out to parents about their child's day and any concerns, using their preferred method. My approach to enforcing household rules is firm yet kind, ensuring a safe and structured environment. From engaging in outsude activities to educational and imaginative play, I adapt my play to each child's needs and developmental stage. I am currently pursing a Masters degree in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University. I am a certified EMT with First Aid Training, have experience as a doula and feel confident in my ability to handle various situations. I am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
