Hello, my name is Alix! I recently moved to DC after graduating in May with my Master of Public Health in Maternal, Child, and Family Health from UNC Chapel Hill. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human/Child Development from the University of California, Davis and 10+ years of experience working with infants, children, and young adults in a variety of settings. I am the oldest of four with prior experience working as a gymnastics coach and summer camp leader so knowing how to handle a household full of kiddos in a fun way is my specialty! I also have background knowledge and a few years experience with developmental disorders and chronic illnesses (ex. type 1 diabetes) so I am quick to learn what your child may need. Alix is wonderful! We hired her when our little one was only 3 months old (she is now 2) and Alix was fantastic at every stage. Our little girl adores her. She is easy to communicate with, punctual, responsible, and an overall lovely person.
