About Allianah

I'm a California credentialed English teacher with experience in teaching students from middle to high school! I'm eager to help students enhance their reading, writing, and speaking skills. I'm also fluent in Tagalog and can teach English as a second language. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, open-minded, and goal-oriented. I like tutoring because helping students succeed and excel in English gives me great joy. I'm looking for a job that is challenging and exciting! Each student is different so I'm excited to tackle different kinds of learners. I started tutoring during college as I pursued my BA in English Education. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, read, and try local food! One thing you should know about me is that I'm dedicated to my craft and as much as I strive to teach students, I also aim to learn from them! My skills include introspective and interpersonal social skills, assessment based teaching, and curating student specific lesson plans.
