About Altisha

I have over 10 years experience working with children of all ages. From infant to all school age. I have taken courses and trainings in early childhood education as well as Social & Emotional learning. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish. My long term goal is to work on finishing my education to become an elementary school teacher in the future. I plan to enroll in online classes to finish my degree which is why I am looking for something more flexible for work. I am also a new mother and would love to work and also spend more time with my son. I have experience working in school afterschool programs, lunch programs and summer programs/camps. I have been a personal nanny, for 2 different families and babysat for countless other families. Most of which I met through working at a child development center. I became close with many of my students and their families and babysat for them, even after leaving the CDC for a position in KPS. I am currently employed at Pfizer as a vaccine tech.
