About Alysha

I am a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University with my Bachelor's in English and licensure in Secondary Education. At N. I. U I received four times Dean's List and I was nominated for the Exemplary Student Teaching Award. I am currently looking for a full-time teaching position. However, in my free time, I am searching for a way to continue my passion for educating the youth. I have spent countless hours within the field lesson planning, instructing, and tutoring. My main area of expertise is English, however, my experience with Substitute Teaching has provided me with the opportunity to work within multiple classroom settings including Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language, and Physical Education. Therefore, I feel comfortable tutoring multiple subjects. Additionally, I have experience with the instruction of standardized testing. I feel it is my responsibility to give your child a positive, structured, and fun environment to grow and learn.
