About Alyssa

I am a full-time stay at home homeschooling mom of 4! I have over 20 years of experience with children. I have been homeschooling for 8 years. In those years I have taught three children to read, (one of which has severe dyslexia) write, and own their education. Learning should be fun and enjoyable. My kids and I are very involved in community events, we love to get outside, and are very active in our home school community! I believe in firm rules and boundaries but also feel that kids should be able to get dirty and experience life. I am fun loving, compassionate, patient, and love exploring. Kids deserve to be nurtured into respectable, helpful, goal-driven individuals. I believe kids should be given the opportunity to explore within boundaries and learn from experience. I love hands on activities and getting kids involved in their education. Helping kids become the best version of themselves is a joy and an honor, and I cannot wait to help your child become just that!
