I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and coursework in early childhood education. I have experience in creating fun, educational and skill-building curriculum for as young as 14 months. I believe that language is very important from the beginning and I love to read, sing, and use vast vocabulary to encourage language development. I also believe that Play is very important; that it is vital to children's learning and creates an avenue to express their feelings and learn about the world around them. I am also the type to sit in the sandbox or on the floor with paint right next to them! I love exploring the outdoors and love all animals. Alyssa worked well with all four of my daughters from infancy to young adolescents. She was very kind and compassionate, but set clear boundaries and expectations. She did well developing literacy, social skills and play. She was helpful with our dogs too!
