About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa. I have a bachelor's in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor as well as a bachelor's in nursing from Eastern Michigan University. I am currently a pediatric RN looking to take a break from bedside nursing but still want a role where I get to interact with kids! In the past I have tutored and/or nannied for a wide range of kids from infancy to college. My most recent nannying/babysitting role started with a family who had a 6-month-old and a 5-year-old so I am okay with managing multiple age groups at once. My floor job as a nurse takes children as young as a few days old to 21 years old so I am comfortable with all the age groups! I am willing to take kids to sports practices or other interactive activities such as parks and museums, etc. I strongly believe that keeping them active and engaged is an important part of their childhood! I am BLS/CPR certified, have my own transportation, and have never smoked.
