About Amanda

I'm a caregiver because I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I have 4 years of experience caring for children of all ages, and I'm comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I have some college education, and I am currently enrolled part time in school to pursue a career as a school counselor. I'm a patient, calm, creative, and friendly individual. I love reading, playing board games, and educational games with children. I am also willing to help in any school work children may need to complete. I believe in open communication with parents and I follow their preferred method of communication to discuss their child's day or any issues that may arise. I also follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I'm available to provide childcare for children of all ages, and I have a car to help with transportation. I'm also comfortable with pets.
