I am reliable, creative, and energetic. It is important for a students to feel successful. I love seeing their smile and pride when they can independently answer questions. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work from home due to my recent physical disability. With 24 years of teaching experience, I miss teaching and making learning fun. One thing you should know about me is that I have an authentic approach to education. This is important when tutoring because students who need help did not learn the concept in a traditional way. I am also resilient and ambitious trying multiple ways to explain the "how" and "why" until I find a way that works. I am adept at elementary and MS academic areas with an emphasis on algebra and literature analysis. I have the expertise to teach young children to read and write using songs and drama. My philosophy is that all students can succeed given the time and opportunity to learn in a way that suits them best.
