About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda. I am a very patient, active, ambitious, and outgoing person. Two years ago I babysat for a family during the summer. I cared for a girl and helped take care of her pets as well. I occasionally would drive her to camps and helped her with lunch. I am currently a Learning Disabilities major at Aquinas College with a History minor. Throughout my college career, I have observed and tutored students in a variety of schools. In high school, I was apart of a LINKS program where I helped students with special needs. I have been a buddy for the organization called the miracle league where I help kids with special needs on their summer league baseball teams. This summer, I was planning on being a camp counselor to expand my experience working with children, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, many of these camps have been canceled. However, I am still eager and excited to work and help kids throughout this summer.
