About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as friendly, fun, adaptable I like working with kids because they're a lot of fun! I love watching them grow and seeing their personalities bloom. I believe the babysitter/nanny role can be a very important role in a kids life. I'm looking for a job that will be fulfilling to me. I like to know that I am adding value to the lives of those I work with! I will need a flexible job to work with my schedule. I started working with kids when I was about 13 I babysat for neighbors. Throughout high school I babysat for more families and nannied over the summers. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I enjoy cooking and reading. One thing you should know about me is I am a college student and I am in the military. I take morning classes 4 days/week and am required to attend training for the National Guard one weekend/month. My skills include patience, empathy, enthusiasm. I've always found that kids adapt to me quickly and easily!
