About Amanda

Hi there, my name is Amanda and I'm a loving and nurturing 20-year-old nanny! I have been working in childcare for 5 years and love it so much! My favorite age group is infants, but I have experience with all ages. I'm located in La Mesa and my rates start at $25/hour for one child. I have worked at a preschool serving ages 2-6 and have cared for 5 families. I'm infant CPR/first aid certified, have reliable transportation, and I am pursuing an ECE Master Infant Teacher Certificate from SDCC. My focus is giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and supportive space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love working on milestones, dancing/singing, pretend play, doing crafts, and fostering healthy independent time. I always want to be on board with your parenting style, I am more familiar with the gentle parenting/Montessori approach. In my personal time I love to look for sea glass on the beach, draw, and play board games. I look forward to meeting you :)
