In high school, I was a part of many clubs, Child Development and Leadership, which allowed me to gain experience with preschool, middle school, and high school students. Some of these tasks required were helping students with homework and projects, getting students involved with activities, and promoting a healthy school environment. I have my degree in Human Development from California State East Bay as well as my ECE certificate from Skyline College. I worked as a preschool teacher and director for over 8 years. I have acquired many skills while working in different schools and have experience working with children with special needs. I love to do arts and crafts, bake, read stories, play sports, and more. I also enjoy gardening, organizing, and working on home improvement projects. I have been CPR & First Aid certified for the past 8 years. I enjoy organizing closets and rooms and running errands

Amany has been an amazing addition to our family! Her vast experience with kids is evident in the easy way she engages with Amelia and strikes that balance of providing her support and security with gently challenging her to become her own person and try new things. Even at the very beginning, Amany didn't try to rush into our lives but took the time to watch and listen to our daughter and took her cues on when she was comfortable to try more. With that thoughtful approach it was no surprise that it took only a few days before Amany shot up the ranks with Amelia (right after dad and before mom:)) and now they have a blast together. You can tell she truly loves what she does and is the best silver lining we have had in this whole pandemic. We're just sad to see her go but know that the school that gets her is very lucky!
