About Amber

Hello! I'm Amber, and I'm eager to support families during the summer and after school throughout the year. I am passionate about working with children and creating enriching experiences that foster their growth and happiness. Currently, I work at a school where I teach 1:1 for ages 5-16. My responsibilities include preparing educational materials, designing activities tailored to individual needs, and developing personalized learning plans. I also collect behavioral and academic data, and implement ABA strategies. Previously, I was a full-time nanny for two children aged 1 and 3. My duties included preparing bottles, cooking meals, organizing activities, and maintaining a secure and nurturing environment. I also managed household tasks like dishes, laundry, and vacuuming to ensure a tidy space. I hold certifications in CPI, PCMA, and CPR/First Aid, along with a current Fingerprint clearance card and a clean driving record. I do not smoke and have reliable transportation available.
