About Amber

I have years of experience caring for kids of all ages. From babysitting to being a full-time live-in nanny for an infant as well as teaching classes and community programs. I am free to help you during the weekday mornings and afternoons. I love helping keep a tidy home and providing activities like reading books with fun voices, crafts, adventure walks, fun snacks etc. I attended college yet was already advanced in my training and was hired by my company of choice before finishing college. After decades of 2 different professional careers, I have more recently been teaching, caring for children and occasionally substitute teaching at my 12-year-old daughters school where my husband is a full time teacher as well. Amber was our very own Mary Poppins, bringing positivity and loving care to our four month old. We hired Amber as I was transitioning from maternity leave back to full time work. She was exactly what we needed - caring, kind, always willing to lend an extra hand outside of her main duties of caring for our daughter in our home while I worked. I decided to reduce my hours recently, so that I could spend more time with our daughter and not miss out on milestones. But we loved Amber while she was taking care of our little one.
