After going thru our first few caregivers that turned out to be unreliable, unprofessional and had no real clinical care experience, we were blessed to find Amber. Her knowledge, amazing bed-side manner and true compassion, not only for her work, but our mother, confirmed that we made the right choice in bringing her into our home. She made our mother laugh everyday, which was important to us. She knew exactly how to communicate and care for an elderly patient in her final stages of dementia. As we got closer to our mothers final days, she was wonderful in preparing us for what to expect. Although one is never ready to see a loved one pass on, she genuinely helped us to cope with it as it drew closer everyday. Our mother passed in the early morning on July 4th. She told me to call her if she was not here. When I called, she said she on her way. I told her she didn’t have to because it was so early in the morning…. She was at our house in 20 minutes. Additionally, she was AMAZING in handling a large portion of the administrative steps involved in the process, even getting us approved with aid from the VA! that I’m itself, was well above and beyond her required duties. I would recommend Amber without hesitation. We were blessed to have her.
