About Amelia

I love kids and love to babysit! I used to play sports in high school and am very active. I work well under stress and am always ready to help out. I am very happy and outgoing and do great with kids! I like working with kids because I've always had a great connection with the kids I have babysat. I never had a fun babysitter when I was young, so I make it my mission to be the one I always wanted. As I'm pursuing a degree in allied health with the goal of becoming a pediatric occupational therapist, I feel like this experience is really aligning with my future career. In my spare time, I like to stay active because it is a big part of who I am. I played soccer competitively in high school, but after a string of injuries, I decided not to pursue it in college. Now, I'm channeling that energy into building a tennis team at my school, which I hope will kick off this coming fall. I've also got a 6-month-old puppy who keeps me on my toes with walks and playtime outdoors.
