About Amiah

I like working with kids because they're so much fun! They're so funny, have great energy, and teach you new things all the time unintentionally. They're also often misunderstood, which I love to listen, hear them out, and help them express themselves in healthy ways. What I look for in a job is flexibility, great communication, and a safe positive environment. I started working with kids at age 16. I worked at the YMCA. I taught kids ages 3 to 14. Before that, I babysat for my own siblings and cousins who were about 6 months to 5yrs. Then, at age 17, I worked for a family with 2 kids ages 2 & 4. For about 2yrs, only on occasion. Also, at 18 I worked in a church nursery. I worked with children from 24 months to 4yrs. I love swimming, walks, hammocks, picnics, music, reading, shopping, movies, writing, and more! A couple of things families should know is that I'm very easy going, I'm super go with the flow, patient, responsible, assertive, punctual, hard working, & a fast learner.
