About Amirah

I have 5 years of experience working with children including babysitting and tutoring. I am dedicated and passionate towards helping children grow and develop into wonderful young adults. I am currently obtaining a degree in Social Work. My previous babysitting roles and classes have solidified my desire to make a positive impact in children's lives. Friendly, patient, creative, and calm, I believe in open and honest communication with parents. I also respect and follow the household rules set by the parents. I enjoy participating in board games, educational games, art, and outdoor sports. I ran track and played varsity volleyball in high school. I played on the USAV national volleyball team the summer of 2018 and traveled to Italy to play volleyball my sophomore year. I was apart of my high schools national honor society and my colleges Honors Program. I am comfortable caring for two children at a time and am happy to help prepare meals and do light housekeeping. I am CPR trained.
