Hi! My name is Amy , and I have had the privilege of working with children and families for the past 10+ years. I'm 30 years old, a UC Berkeley graduate, where I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Education. Upon graduation, I became a certified classroom teacher and taught 2nd grade (with additional experience in kinder and 1st). In 2017, I transitioned from teaching to nannying. I have nannied full-time for five incredible families (two in Denver, two in Oakland, and one in Croatia). All five of the families had children ages 1-6. I am passionate about working with children and know how to create a structured, nurturing environment in which children can learn, explore, and thrive.

Amy has been such a gift for our family. Our 4 year old was very anxious about spending time apart from us (along with my own anxiety about sending our daughter off with someone new!), however Amy immediately put us all at ease. Amy has a natural ability to connect with kids through creativity, humor, and play. She brings a sense of warmth, kindness, and patience to every interaction that in our experience is pretty rare to find. Amy truly values getting to know each child as the individual they are, and it was so fun to watch our daughter thrive in this environment and with this type of support. Besides being a nanny, Amy has her own business as a trained parenting consultant, and she brings this experience and a sense of professionalism to every interaction. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Amy. Any family will be so lucky to hire her.
