Hi! I am a professional nanny with over 25 years of experience caring for children ages newborn through teen. I am also a mom to 2 amazing kids and 2 stepchildren, all of whom are currently away at college! They're turning into the most amazing adults and therefore they give me the best reference possible. (But no worries, plenty of other references are also available upon request!) I'm trained in Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED (recently renewed and certified as of January 2023) and fully vaccinated and boosted. I have worked through a reputable nanny agency in the past, but more recently have become part of many other wonderful families both through care. com and by local word-of-mouth. I currently nanny part-time for a sweet 22-month-old girl, but I do have some time available each week for per diem, date night or overnight childcare. Amy is truly wonderful — I can’t recommend her enough! She has been our nanny since my daughter was 4 months old (now 20 months!), and my daughter absolutely adores her. Amy has a kind and nurturing sensibility that is apparent to both little ones and adults as soon as you meet her. She’s creative and energetic and has so much experience and knowledge with kids of all ages so she tailors activities and how she spends her time with them — she seeks out fun, educational games or outings for my daughter all the time! She is calm, organized and responsible so I would trust her judgment in any setting. On top of that, she is incredibly helpful in the day-to-day keeping our lives running smoothly — anticipating and adjusting to our work schedules, helping with errands or things around the home. In short, she is a absolute gem and we feel so lucky to have found her!
