As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with over 7 years of experience in woundcare, geriatrics, and pediatrics, I have developed a strong foundation in providing high-quality care to patients with varying needs. My extensive experience has allowed me to gain expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, with a special focus on wound management and geriatric care. In woundcare, I have extensive knowledge of wound assessment and management techniques, including wound cleaning and dressing, infection prevention and control, and monitoring for signs of infection. In geriatrics, I have experience in caring for older adults with multiple chronic conditions, such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, and heart failure. I am skilled in providing medication management, performing basic care tasks, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
