Andrew took care of my Dad over the course of at least 2-3 (?) years at the home of my Dad and his wife. I lived nearby and visited many times when Andrew was "on-duty." My Dad was a "challenging" personality throughout his life. Andrew knew how to manage that. He was a great asset to my stepmom, as he anticipated needs before requested, and a relief to her. He adapted well to family personalities. He was canny to know when to fill in conversational gaps and when to exit conversation and make himself scarce. Although he never "over-promised," he always "over-delivered." He is methodical, attentive, caring, anticipatory and properly actively engaged in his reactions to any situation at hand. Intuitively, he had a fresh beverage or snack in front of my Dad literally at the moment I knew he was about to ask. Andrew, in his own personal life, genuinely practices "goodness to others." It is not a mantra, but part of his core belief system. He shares same with all about him.
