I am very reliable and committed to the person I care for . I love the one on one contact. I have experience with hospice care and also long term care. Caring for the elderly is my passion. I have a lot of dementia experience . From redirecting to every day care !

Andria worked with my senior Dad when he lived in an independent living complex in Beverly. She was very upbeat and a nice person. She was punctual and reliable in terms of being on time, managing his schedule, making sure he took his meds and getting him involved in activities to keep him happy. My Dad had dementia in the early to mid stages. He was very frustrated with what was happening to him and at times was angry. It takes a special person to be able to handle someone with dementia. She did mention when I originally hired her that people must "fit" with each other and that she did not like working with negativity - at the time I did not realize that this is what comes with dementia in the form of anger and frustration. I feel that Andria did a fine job overall, but she had many other things going on in her life including other clients and a small business - I believe she got overwhelmed trying to balance it all while taking care of my Dad. He needed someone to pay total attention to him, and I feel that she could not do that well while managing everything else she had on her plate. I think she would be best fit for a senior that wants to be active and needs a companion to do it with them. Originally that is what I needed with my Dad - but it did not remain that way, as he devolved with his dementia. I would recommend her for other senior care however, and think she would do a fine job. She did end up leaving us unexpectedly, via text. However she took steps to make sure we had someone in place so we would not be left flat out. I appreciated this and consider it to be professional. This review is not meant to be negative in terms of Andria, but to express how I feel she fits into senior care from my experience. Again I would recommend Andria in the right situation, she was a kind, caring, professional and upbeat person.
