Did you like or are you at least familiar with the "Magic School Bus" children's series? If you are then you must know my background and methodologies are similar. My professional background and methodologies are rooted in "creative play" and the idea that learning and general care can be both instructional and a fun adventure. I have six years as a self-contained Special Education instructor where I specialized in working with children & young adults with mixed pattern and co-morbid diagnosis. I also have experience as a Qualified Mental Health Professional & Case Manager, Vocational Coach and as Director of Youth Programming. Additional child care and instructional experience include intermittent and on an "as needed basis" work as a nanny for the same family for two years. I've also always kept a back foot in the hospitality industry and have work experience as professional Chef.
