About Anna

Hey there! I am new to care. com, though I have lots of experience in different forms of childcare. I've been a nanny, camp counselor, nature school mentor and have worked with students needing extra support in therapeutic school settings. I love to be present with children, meet them where they're at and attune to their rhythms and needs. I have lots of creative activities up my sleeve to make our time together dynamic and interesting (music, crafts, outdoor activities, games) and hope for them to feel safe and seen. I connect with my own inner child and that's what makes it fun! I am trained as a massage therapist, yoga instructor and herbalist. These are natural methods for connecting with earth, and body, and cultivating health. I am able to bring this into all other work I do. I've also had a lot of experience with elder care- I've worked as a support person for elders with Alzheimer's and dimensia, overnight shifts with a paralyzed fellow requiring assistance.
