About Anna

I have worked with children for the past 25 years and love getting to know children's unique personalities. When I was in college and grad school I worked as a tutor across a range of subjects and enjoy working to create a positive curiosity toward learning. My niece lived with me while she was in elementary school and we had to do a lot of home supplementation tailored to her personal learning styles as what was offered in the classroom was not working for her. Most recently, I was an after school "supervisor" for two kids while they were in the 5th-9th grade ranges. We made sure homework was completed and also studied for placement tests for private middle schools. I've been successful working with children because they quickly learn that I am reasonable and fair with a great sense of humor.
