About Anne

I'm available to tutor students of all ages in English and creative writing. Whether its helping a student develop the strongest college essay they can, creating engaging creative writing prompts for a reluctant reader and writer to find their voice, or teaching students the art of writing academic papers, I love teaching. I have a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and an MFA in Creative Writing from Hollins University. I have experience teaching in classrooms, afterschool programs, public libraries, and camps. I have taught very young children, college students, and every age in between. I love helping students discover the power and fun that can come with reading and writing well. I'm available primarily on weekends, but I do have some flexibility during the week and in the evenings if that's what works best for your family.
