About Annie D

Hi there! My name is Annie! I graduated from Saint Michael's college a few years ago (2021), with a double degree in secondary education and mathematics, and now teach middle school math at a middle school in the surrounding Burlington area. I grew up in Southern Maine, where I frequently babysat for local families with kids of all ages. Later in high school, I was hired as a full-time summer nanny for a family that I remained working with through all of my college summers. Now being more rooted in Vermont, my younger sister has taken over for them! I have experience and feel comfortable with caring for kids of all ages. I love to be active and engaged with what the Vermont outdoors have to offer. My background in education has helped develop a deep understanding of the development of children and I love my job as a teacher for that reason! I'm looking for part-time work throughout the rest of my school year, and am available for more full-time hours in the July/August months.
