About Annika

Hello! I am a fourth year medical student and dual-degree master's student (MD/MA in Bioethics and Medical Humanities) applying to a general surgery residency in the fall. I have previous experience taking babysitting jobs in my neighborhood and own home, and have worked in various children's hospitals as part of my medical education and undergraduate volunteer experience, caring for children of varying medical and emotional needs ranging from 0-18 years old. Additionally, I am certified in child and infant basic and advanced life support. I am very patient with children and enjoy listening to, engaging, and uplifting them. I speak Spanish and can provide a Spanish-only environment for them if desired.
