About Annika

Hi, I'm Annika, pronounced like Monica without the 'M'. I graduated from NYU with my Master's in Statistics in 2023 and have a few years of experience teaching and tutoring. For Stats and Math, I have primarily tutored and taught young adults with a specific focus on coding in R as both a Teaching assisstant and Tutor through NYU Data services. I like to approach a session a problem at a time, helping my students by asking questions to guide them in the right direction, modeling important problem solving skills, and giving concrete examples and visuals when needed. Additionally, in high school, I tutored middle school students on string instruments for several years and have been playing cello for about 15 years. I'm comfortable helping beginner and intermediate string students and with teaching music theory.
